Love skiing or boarding? Inspired by the quickly emerging backcountry scene? And intimidated by the world of backcountry skiing? We can help you confidently and safely embark into the world of backcountry skiing and boarding.

This process may begin with choosing the right gear, learning to properly pack a pack, understanding the basics of backcountry skiing or boarding, or furthering your avalanche education. Know which skis you should rent or buy, which beacon is best, which pack is most suitable for your rig, basic skinning techniques, backcountry etiquette etc. Enjoy guided human-powered or mechanized backcountry travel such as by helicopter, snowmobile, or snowcat. Join an existing avalanche education course or get a group of friends together for private instruction. Immerse yourself in the backcountry by staying in a backcountry hut or lodge. The possibilities are endless!
